AP Polit(r)ics.

“We are a funny nation. Elections were held in Bihar, we expected Karnataka CM to get down and by the end of day AP got a new CM.”

Are you one of them, who like one of my colleagues, was surprised how a CM can resign without any reason. ?  Don’t be so surprised. I replied my pal “Its AP politics dude. AP politicians don’t know why they resign and when they resign. Infact there is a party which does nothing but resignations for survival and even nick named R for resignations in its name.”

Resignations of CM are an age old ritual of Regional Congress in Andhra Pradesh right from the formation of state. Guess the number of Congress CMs who had a full five year term in Andhra Pradesh in this long 40 years of Congress rule in the state. Its a meager 3.Yes, that’s right. THREE.  Technically only fifteen years were ruled properly.

It all began when Indira Gandhi, the first madam was ruling the nation. Someone got on a plane to Delhi and did bhajan for some days and returned as a new CM for the state. We had 4 CMs from Congress for the period 1978-1983. (This irritated the then movie star NTR and he started a party with the sole campaign topic of “Self Respect” for Telugus. And he was the next CM within 9 months of party launch). This was followed by 3 Congress CMs for the period 89-94.

I am not sure if other state politics are so interesting, but I bet someone can actually make a epic movie about politics of Andhra Pradesh.

The main regional party of AP, the TDP (Telugu Desam party) came to power within nine months of its formation. All the candidates stood as independents as the party was not a recognized by then and won 212 seats out of 294. It was the main opposition party in parliament for the period 84-89 in Parliament, read it again, the Parliament. After the death of Indira Gandhi , whole country was on congress sympathetic wave, but not Andhra Pradesh. Rajiv Gandhi won 404 of 543 seats and in AP, congress could get 6 out of 42. Since 1991, the party which ruled AP was also in power in centre or was a part of central coalition. It faced two major coups; one when the CM from the party, NTR went for a surgery in US was backstabbed by his deputy and formed a government unconstitutionally with the aegis of Central government and Governor. It again faced a coup by the founder’s son-in-law due to the reasons which are controversial till now and a black spot on the present president, also known as modern chanakya. He forms alliances in most unexpected combinations and recently did campaigning in the recent by polls by doing a dharna in Maharashtra.

The other regional party or technically a sub-regional party was formed when the founder was denied a ministry in the state government as legend says. The party elected representatives have resigned more than the times that the number of representatives presently. The president of that party leads the tally with 3 times getting elected to parliament in his 7 year MP career.

The newly formed party PRP founded by the megastar of Telugu Film industry could garner a decent amount of 20 % votes even though it couldn’t make a reasonable tally . And I personally believe the only party which understood the Telangana issue correctly by supporting a social Telangana cause.

The LOKSATTA party which was formed by a former IAS officer Sri Jaya Prakash Narayana, after being an NGO for ten years, is a non-political political party; it aims to start a second freedom struggle against corruption and began its long journey of thousand miles with one mile. It secured one seat in the last elections. The Loksatta NGO previously contributed significantly to the formulation of administrative and political reforms. Hope it succeeds as soon as possible.

PS: Everytime the congress changed CMs as per its wish, it lost the power in the state.

October To(a)lly

This October has been the kalpataruvu for the Telugu film audience like me; unfortunately none can be said as the greatest in recent times. The fiction oriented Robo , Fan oriented Khaleja , Family oriented Brindavanam and Faction oriented Rakta charitra.

Giving justice to all those facts flouting on internet, Thalaiva released his film on the starting day of the month or as the legend says later , the month started only when Rajini decided to release his movie. Be it people thronging theatres at 4AM for early morning shows or all the theatres in Chennai screening only Endhiran/Robo/Robot  on that weekend or bringing down the Corporate bulletin board servers with analysis and discussions, it was only possible to SuperStar. The Euphoria was magnanimous. The exciting was unmatchable.  It was the Indian cinema’s answer to Terminator+ transformers+Matrix+Hulk  to the power of  Spielberg’s A.I. With an unprecedented making price and on-par Hollywood animatronics, its definitely the magnam opus of both Shankar and Rajini. Whatever Rajini can’t do in as a human being hero, did them by becoming the Chitti, the robot. Aishwarya supplemented whatever the audience need.

Rajini is more than familiar to Telugu audience and rose to stardom in Tollywood with Basha. Similar to what he says in that film, his one film was enough for him to gain stardom of hundred films in Tollywood. Followed by superhits like  Arunachalam,Dalapati, muttu  and Narasimha paved his Rahadari for box office collections in Andhra Pradesh. Chandramikhi and Shivaji made him the prime star of Tollywood.  So, when a Rajini movie is released, it’s also a festival for Telugu audience.

Robo showed Rajini on unbelievable scale with both protagonist and antagonist. Right from Chandramukhi and Shivaji, it was the second character of Rajini which entertained the most. Same case was here, where the second half was entirely Rajini mania on screen on various shapes and sizes. My only regret is that I was not able to see it in 3D and film could have come in 2 parts. If only it was, imagine the euphoria for Robo-2  3D !!     Priceless.!!

Next came the bumper combination with the most prolific screen writer and most handsome actor of Tollywood , Trvikram Mahesh Khaleja. Even though the film raked a slight negative talk in beginning, it plunged back like the regular trivikram movies. It was much of a one-man show of Mahesh babu with his best acting role till now. New style of dialogue delivery, new style of his dances, new style of dressing, it was pretty much his movie than Trivikram’s.  Even the comedy part was taken care by him with ‘Comedy cheste nene cheyyalroyi ‘ . The portrayal of heroine as less intelligent like earlier Trivikram movies  didn’t work quite well  for the director as the heroine has done some powerful characters earlier.

The story was great. Screenplay was bleak. Dialogues were directionless. If only sada siva song came at more appropriate timing, if only Kota Srinivas rao had a bigger role, If only Brahmanandam was given a better comic role in addition to  Abhayahastam scene,If only songs didn’t start abruptly,if only had a better climax movie would have been very much big bumper hit.

So, when the class hero Mahesh babu tried with to do a mass character, the Mass movie king, Jr.NTR came with a class character in Brindavanam .  The movie was a routine comedy-sentiment-family audience oriented with a slightly different story. As it doesn’t have any negative points, it is being dubbed as safe bet with cine goers and raking collections at box office.Gracious Samantha,Kewl kajal and Bommarillu fatherBbrahmi are enough for the movie to have good feel.

The month also has seen a comeback for RGV to Telugu audience with Rakta charitra. Even though the facts have been slightly deviated to make screenplay streamline, it was a rare showcase of violence in so much grandeur. With such a gripping screenplay, it showcased why RGV is still admired in film circles. The part 2 to be released on Nov 26 has to reach very high expectations now.

This November is also a litmus test for the second tier of scions of Tollywood megas.Kalyan ram Katthi and Orange are releasing this month. Followed by Nagarjuna’s two films in December and Venkatesh’s Chandra mukhi -2 are on the way.So, loads of entertainment on the way.

Long live Tollywood.!!

The TRICOLOR factors!! Will India be what it wants to be?? – Part II

The Tricolor Indian flag

At an age of 63 in a man’s life ,perhaps he would have accomplished all his worldly desires n become stable in all respects and enjoy his prosperity grow beyond his imaginative limits and his younger generation of his off springs taking over his efforts. But INDIA celebrating its 64th Independence Day this year is still in deep troubles as a troubled teenager trying to make his life. Even as the GDP is growing at a rate of double digits and foreign reserves at an all time high and many figures and indices showing its prosperity, India still lacks a lot to become what it aspired to be in this global world.  . Can we imagine ourselves as a militarily invincible, economically unrivalled, diplomatically uncontestable and a dominating force on information channels worldwide? Or putting it in a simple way” Will INDIA be a superpower?” At this point this is the one of the biggest possible question to debate about. These are the some of the issues which cross my thoughts which may hinder us in becoming what we want. I call them the TRICOLOR factors!!!

Almost 3 years back, I have written a blog post titled “TRICOLOR factors. Will India become what it wants to be “. And here is the sequel and addition for the same. Please read the previous one , if u have not read it before.

‘T’ elangana and its aftermath

I fear to imagine how Andhra Pradesh would be celebrating the next New Year eve. If it goes as planned, the Sri Krishna Commission will finalize it report and submit it to Home ministry by then. I don’t need to predict as a astrologer that the incidents before and after dec 9, 2009 will repeat again. The major parties in the state are still not clear about their position and the whole state is divided on this issue.
I believe Telangana is a social issue and dealing it politically is not correct. Honestly, I couldn’t find a genuine, unique, rational reason for the region to be separated from the state in this country. Backwardness is not a reason when almost every state has a backward region. Looting of resources as some claim the reason to be doesn’t make sense when a region has 40% MLAs in state.Whatever, I hope the commission will look into all aspects and will give proper recommendations. And I hope they find a marker to divide the states in near future (like the language marker as states reorganized previously).

This is not what I am worried of. People (or should I say politicians) will again come on to streets for a year or so and everything will go back to normalcy. But what after a new state is formed in India where the process of formation was triggered by Violence and hunger strike [A fake one rather ] . [Some might argue that the same happened for formation of Andhra Pradesh, but it was Central government at that time delaying the already taken decision of reorganization of states on the basis of Language]. Leave aside the future of Telangana; the situation in country would be worse. All the new states aspirants will begin violent protests and I can’t imagine to what far they might go. Will the centre go on constituting the committees for every new state issue? Will we become a 50 State country?

‘R’ iver bank politics

The recent Babli invasion by TDP  has revisited the same old story what repeats frequently between Karnataka-Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh- Karnataka, India – China, India-Bangladesh and India –Pakistan.[Thankfully, we don’t blame Nepal for kosi floods ] . All the upper regions of the river basin want to support their population and there is no wrong in doing that. But at the behest of the people in the lower region is certainly non-ethical and unconstitutional. We don’t have a Supreme river water resource management committee in the country and still depend of Supreme Court verdict which it alters every now and then.

‘I’ nfrastructure

Ask every industrialist, about the bad thing about Indian economy is and it’s certain that Infrastructure would be his reply. We are improving a lot, but not at the rate our GDP nor at the rate of our population growth. Infrastructure may include traffic situation in Cities to Tractor roads in Villages, Unloading in ports to underground railways, busy railway routes to bizzli-less Villages. Iam talking about neither making Broadband a fundamental right nor bullet trains between important cities, but the common necessities of People such as Education, Health care and electricity.

‘C’ orruption and Critics

Nobody teaches this but everybody knows how to give a bribe and how to take bribe. Even a kinder garden child tells how to get your driving license in 3 hours or how to travel on a non-confirmed ticket. The corruption allegations on Ruling parties and Opposition parties are regular column news in newspapers as the obituaries. Some rent a Treadmill at 10 Lakhs and buy a toilet roll at the price of a treadmill. And I don’t need to stress the fact that if we shun corruption, we would be number one in the world.
Then we have the critics who simply criticize the state of affairs, don’t vote, pays bribes but not taxes, don’t follow rules and brag as this is the worst place to live. These armchair critics are the biggest nuisance for India.

‘O’ rder Order

A phenomenon which is disturbing me recently is the frequent interference of Judiciary in functioning of governments. Of course, it gives a temporary solace to make things work, but it hampers the whole idea of democracy and constitution in first place and defeats the whole purpose of Judicial System. One Public Interest Litigation is enough to stall a project worth thousands of crores because somebody feels that government is being unfair. Unless the executionary wing of democracy becomes chaste, we depend on judiciary for these momentary impulses and thank god, we still respect and fear judiciary.

‘L’ ine of Control

I don’t know why the name is given as Line of Control when we are unable to control either side. The Kashmiri’s should be taken proper care at least considering their prospects of Olympic medals in Javelin and Shot-put. Has the new Chief Minister turned from Hero to Nero or  don’t wehave spine to eliminate the anti-national forces in the valley from last two decades? I dont think this problem will be solved in next 50 years.

‘O’ ur own Red Horror

When we have the terrorists bombing our hotels and palaces in cities, there are some other people who are taking care of electricity towers and school buildings in Villages. Some intellectuals argue it as a social problem which it is, but they hamper the every step to reduce the horror, which  now spread to one-third districts in India. We sacrifice our trained armed forces to this horror as a routine saga yet we don’t find a unanimous decision at the top to take down this problem.

‘U’ nderstanding Nature

We, in this country don’t care about the Nature and surroundings. We throw all sorts of garbage at any random place. We make no concern or a little hullah bullah about a oilspill which happened on our premises damaging 100 of kms of shores, but are keen on how a British company spoiled shores of America. We don’t care about the Countless tribes living with the nature. We don’t care about the water resources. We don’t care about the mineral resources. We basically don’t understand what nature has given us and know how to use them judiciously.

‘R’ eligionism and Regionalism

I don’t need to specify where we are going wrong on these aspects. We fight over the invisible god with the living people. We fight over the territory which neither of us will be able to rule forever. We fight with other nations, other states, other districts and other villages. We fight with other religions, fight with other castes and fight with other sub-castes.

Are we still INDEPENDENT or In Dependent? Are we having the real Freedom? Many questions like this. 

PS: Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind.

My New life ..!!!

The sun-rays of the dawn, making their way through the windows to wake me up, moving my hands onto the tv remote even before changing my sleep posture and switching it on the so called idiot box and then pick up the newspaper, reading it while having coffee was one of my child fantasies.
And now I think it’s accomplished.

This is the start of my routine days here at the gigantic campus of Infy Mysore which proudly proclaims itself as the largest corporate university in the world. After getting into the professional attire and mood, the journey begins to reach the giant coliseum-cum-pantheon like structure which is the place of our training of college style lectures and assignments. We then park our intra-campus transport, the bicycle, near a structure which we called a globe in our novice days of this campus life. The golf-ball shaped multiplex (epcot like one ) , which premiers the latest release, is the heart of Infy Mysore in the geographical as well as psychological context. An evening siesta on a relaxing chair, one of many that surround the swimming pool in the Employee care centre beside the globe structure gives you the illusion of being in a penthouse. An aerial view of the buildings highlights the key word “Infosys“. Everything here bears the pride in the peculiarity of it.

The sessions go on with many folks listening like a school student and others like me doing sound-less snoring or pass time browsing the internal blogs and corporate bulletin board here.

Coming back in the evening, the well-furnished and AC rooms with rest-room of Parry-ware kill the desire to go out. The housekeepers give no room to express the bachelor in you who wants to retain the untidiness of your room. LCD televisions (the main source of internal entertainment as personal laptops are not allowed), an intercom that unites the campus and cycles make life more than comfortable. The food courts decrease the senses of one’s taste buds and many a times domino’s pizza becomes the savior. Sometimes my days end with trying a stroke at Tennis and some strokes in the water pool.

But who says “Happiness comes with no condition”. If on day1 they offer you all these heavenly facilities then on day2 they you are faced with a hectic but manageable schedule along with a huge list of do’s and don’ts. The crew of this professional cruise seeks the pursuit of excellence in all their brat-turned-disciplined sailors; what with dire disciplinary and academic concerns to the Anti-Sexual Harassment Initiative (ASHI) where any sort of eve-teasing or even an unwanted hand-shake is out of question. If the charming and utterly beautiful girls here won’t let you live, then daily assignments and perceptions (tests) won’t let you die.

PS: Hoping to complete this training life and warm the corporate benches as soon as possible 🙂

Its certainly an uncertain verdict !!

It’s an event where an uncertainty is certain… It’s an event where the ultimate tactics are put to place… It’s the game where we spend almost as the Olympics as expenditure, making it the extravagant non-sport event ever to take place.. It’s an event which India is famous all over the world because of its largest participation.. Its occurring in next few months… its IPL . it’s the same acronym but not for the cricket lovers .. but of the cricket loving nation.. It’s the event where teams co operate to win over other teams.. where the winner can be a team of teams… and audience may not predict in what team , a player ends up finally .. .. It’s the Indian Politics League….. the real action that gonna entertain the nation for the next few months… It’s these elections , which truly makes us the largest democracy in the world with over 1 Lakh elected representatives .( considering all the elections extending upto grass root level).

There are lotta advantages of elections ..Read the newspapers and blogs and u get some exciting tolly and bolly stories.. Expect the unexpected. Also it’s the very probable chance where u can see ur fav reel actors in real when they hit road and do some roadshows .. .. Also u suddenly get uninterrupted electricity and water supply and bureaucrats become polite at the time of elections ..n many more to count.

Taking a glimpse at current scenario.. We have two major parties where, one has strong principles but not strong people…. They need to maintain the long history and heritage .They still go on the name of the famous families whose belongings we have to buy out in foreign auctions. Other has strong people and not strong principles or rather I say based on absurd principles ..whenever they want something , they take the name of god to rescue them and become like a temple building organization…n then we have other front which says we neither build temples nor we allow scions to rule the country…. Nobody is sure who is gonna win.. everybody are confident of their strategies and strategic alliances..
Here I wanna mention some people in the state level who r really changing the rules of the game.. CBN.. Chandra Babu Naidu..ultimate tactics .. mixing poltics , economics, society needs and people pulse . He gave the campaigning responsibility to the charismatic family of NTR with the Balakrishna and Jr NTR countering the recent entrant , Megastar Chiranjeevi. He is bringing out the others-think-impossible and legendary manifestos. The money transfer scheme to the poor was a breathtaking one .Many may ask , how it is possible … my answer would be “ he was a Gold medalist and a PhD student in Economics and his son is a MBA grad from Stanford…. It was implemented in Brazil and other parts and is regarded as highly successful poverty eradicating scheme”. I never knew giving Color TVs to poor had so many advantages. The tactics being played by him are top class and zero-fault finding .. awesome.. the waves he is creating in the TV channel and newspapers is tremendous.Even if he wins or not , which I wish he must win, he would be remembered as the best player in this tournament.
The other one I admire is a 1980 IAS batch topper .. JP.. LokSatta’s Jayaprakash Narayan.. a bureaucrat turned politician , trying his best to clean this politics..I hope he gets his credits for his work and hope to see him very high someday.
Watever it is, it’s a nice timepass to see how they play the game and who ends up sitting in the throne.

My verdict: Congress needs to take the support of third front to form the govt in centre(Considering the blows that Cong and BJP getting these days from their allies, they both might not get a clear majority). In the AP state, it would be The Grand Alliance may be with the help of PRP.
PS: One may ask, how come two different results here. But AP has the history of showing completely unrelated attitude in the state and centre politics. When Rajiv Gandhi won almost all the lok sabha , he couldn’t get decent enough numbers from AP and when the non-congress VP singh was the PM , congress swept almost all seats in AP.

PS: No offences.

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

No TiTle..

It was very kewl to see that my blog has a triple digit visit count . I didn chek out my blog from almost Jan when it has some 600+ visits , and now iam really surprised to see so many visits in this three months . Thankfully wordpress offers statistics of what was the the most seen blog post and what google search lead a visitor to my blog. So the answer came out be the blog posts on gtalk custom messages and my placement experiences were most visited with both accouting to almost 200 + visits each in this whole . Also the blog post on telugu movies was the next most viewed one with some 100+ visits. Rest i donno . as this wordpress gives u only top posts. Iam really delighted to see the count and i wish i would blog more often.

Remembering Ghajini…

ghajini1

I guess watching Ghajini in Hindi was not a film feast for a viewer who has already done it in telugu or tamil. But Amir was at his best at some places, especially while acting like a 15-minute guy. For me the film looked like watching a dubbing film. Asin would have done with ease as the movie has same dialogues just translated from the southie version.Jiah Khan did her justice to the role whereas Nayantara was not received well in the murugudoss previous attempt.I don understand y even the dialgoues were same . The camera angles were also same. The story was told to be same but not to this extent. They must have changed some scenes and added more flavor. The climax was made smooth and simple which made a mess in the previous version. The Villain adorned a double role which made the telugu/tamil version climax, the worst part of the film. Coming to the music charts, the scores are to be equal for the guru-disciple duo,Rehman and Harris Jayraj.

There are many points I appreciate and they certainly needs to be kudos qualified ones. The lyrics by prasoon joshi were an highlight and top class. If it have would been the Amir in QSQT or some 90’s movie , it would have been a great spectacle to watch the flashback romance on the screen. Surya was perfect in that role. Also the name GHAJINI was justified in the hindi version, whereas we donno y the name came up in the actual one.The song picturisation was perfect and u cant expect something better than this. The Hindi version scored well in the areas of stunts and climax. Stunts were excellently done and a new version of Amir can be seen. The heroine introduction song and the name of film to be named after villain are certainly plus points to go well with bolly audiences.

Anyways it was a very good movie in the recent days and also a great movie to watch if u have not seen it in other language.  The same was the case of many remakes .

The Mumbai massacre..

“They should undergo training for five to six months. There they should sprint 100 meters in 12 seconds.. should jog 10 km with just an half hr break.. they should march continuously for five hours carrying things weighing at least 20 kgs.. should be able to stay awake for five days in a row and not lose concentration and should be able to go without food for two days” [Source] .

30sld61Iam not talking of some Olympians or some heavy weight boxing champions, but of the sick headed filthy guys who came on sea, and then traumatized our nation and made Taj and Trident their hideout for three days. If these people were used for a better cause which can be anything than this.. they would have at least secured a medal each at Olympics.

I don’t think there are differences in the 9/11 and 26/11 in the motive and manner of the attacks. Both hit at the economic veins [we didn’t have some twin towers in Mumbai and may be this forced them to attack on hotels where all major commercial activity takes place ]. But, it took them just a small boat for logistics whereas they had to hijack many Boeings in US. What does this say?? We are less quipped with whatever we have. Talking in line with Tatas, I can surely say that we lack the crisis management infrastructure that needs to be present if such a thing happens. The NSG guys arrived 10 hrs after the scene started. The Chief Minister came to know the incidents after 2 hours .Then he asked Home ministry which many think that doesn’t exist in India, to send NSG. Then the step in the chain was that to inform NSG DG by Home ministry. Then the Commandos had to be assembled and they were ready after almost 4 hrs. Then the plane they had to travel had to be brought from Chandigarh to Delhi. The plane is said to be slower than Boeings and took the remaining latency in arrival of troops. Thank God it was night and they had no traffic woes in Mumbai. They didn’t have the plan of the buildings where they had to fight in addition to secure the safety of the hostages. Till then, the ill-equipped, cant-have-bulletproof ATS and police had to fight those people and had to sacrifice their leaders.

Inspite of all these, the great thing is that they have emerged as heroes now by showing what we can do with what we have and igniting every ones inner self of the country to go against what’s happening. Saluting and be proud of them is the best thing I do right now.

But the questions remain, why can’t we stop these? Why do we need FBI and Mossads to come and aid us in investigations? Why can’t we stop a satellite phone even after sending a machine to moon? Why can’t we stop media from giving 24 hrs update to help the insiders to strategize accordingly? [ Many questions like this ]The ultimate and the grass root answer leads to politics. Because these leaders don’t care about us… there is no coordination existing among them. . There is no political gain for them in doing something good.. It took the government to summon somebody responsible, a pretty time of two decades after the start of terrorism. Hope this happens completely!! It took them almost 2 yrs to make somebody feel responsible and quit their office. Perhaps, if the attack on parliament would have been successful, we might not be able to see so many massacres happening now.

We need better leaders for the better lives. We need to  stay united at these times of disasters. May be its time that we say “If u r good, iam good and if u r evil , I will do justice”. Its time to be tough on tougher issues and say “Enough is enough” . Can we see a solution in the way for all these?? Can we able to proclaim to the world that we not only love peace, but also we live in peace?? JAIHIND.

PS : Is 26 Bad ?? 26 Dec–Tsunami, 26 Jan–Gujarat Earthquake, 26 Feb–Godhra Train Fire, 26 June–Gujarat Flood, 26 July–Mumbai Train blast, 26 Sept–Ahmedabad bomb blast, 26 Nov– Mumbai again. [ courtesy: got from one of my frnd]

Are we not against the terror??

Three to four days back, I saw a movie titled “A Wednesday “.It was the one of the best movie I have seen from Bollywood. The movie revolves around how it would be if the common man turns against the terror. For all those, who haven’t watched it, please do it asap.

Yesterday there were terror blasts in the capital of our country .When I saw the news; it was nothing short of a casual thing for me. Are many like me, accustomed to such acts??

I was chatting with a friend in Hyderabad, later in the night, and posed him with my routine question? “How’s life and how’s Hyderabad?” His reply was “People are frightened here “.[ Intelligence reports say that blasts can occur in Hyd and currently the city is in high alert]. That came to me as a very unexpected and unusual answer. But how would you feel if the city you are associated from birth is in the grip of terror and expecting something to explode anytime, anywhere and by anyone. How can I be living in a place where I don’t feel safe, can’t roam freely and live with life in somebody’s hand?

There has been no incident of terror in America since 9/11 in the last seven years. Do we require two Boeings blow off and two big buildings burn down to start ourselves turn against these acts of terror?? . Our democracy is honored as the symbol of India and we can’t punish somebody who is responsible for attacking our Parliament. We can’t find who is responsible for the attack on the finest educational institution in the country. We don’t have clues to what can happen next and why and how the previous things happened. The only feel good factor, I say, is the cracking of the Gujarat blasts case .Why is this so?? . These damn guys whoever doing these acts, are sending message just minutes before the incidents, long enough to prove they are on upper hand and short enough for us to stop anything from happening. But why cant we act on those who harm our interests and who can take our lives. When the next blasts happen in a city, Prime minister and President condemns them, and announces some amount as ex-gratia and police do some routine work to identify rounding up some usual suspects and people and media forget them until the next sequence starts. What do you think if something like this happens in America or any other western country??? Will they virtually sit idle and see when the next one is going to occur. ?? We can be proud that 45 top countries have allowed giving exceptions to the rules in trading the most powerful and destructive things of our times, for us.Because we assured them that we use them for peaceful purposes . But are we in a position to raise our head and say that we are a peace loving nation?? We are not able to settle an issue in our north from the last 60 plus years and the root for all that happening in the country. We are not able to punish those who brought down a worship place which acted like a spark plug and raised brows of the fundamentalists and extremists of that segment.

Why are we like this?? Our governments are not even concerned to which it should concern and people forget that there exists something called a home ministry and a minister to that to look into these matters. We don’t say a word against those who credit the association of the people behind the acts as the cultural ones. We don’t give the police enough resources to crack these issues and the intelligence and all the investigation agencies have to work with the will of the government. We can also visualize the routine mudsling politics cropping up after these sequences happen.

Are we going to bring some change to the coming generations?? Are we going to prove that we are a peace loving nation?? Are we going to live in real freedom??

“2power21”

Having completed three years of technical education and in the vanaprastha stage of engineering, thoughts crossed my mind to share something related to techie stuff .

I want to start a new blog , not to disturb this random thoughts. I required a name to suit something relating to technology and stuff.

Some of the good names came cross are: Ctrl-alt-del, alt-f4, tech-tatva etc etc. But all was in vain as all the names were taken by somebody else.

Someday, a name suddenly flashed “2power21”, I liked it prolly because of its Google instinct. Google means “something to the power of something “and it also had the same essence. So, the name fixed to be “2power21”.

So, here’s my technical domain http://www.2power21.blogspot.com and it would be a regular blog.

Hoping for your same felicitous support in this technical endeavor,

VamS.
